Vanessa L. Anderson
Vanessa concentrates her practice in the area of civil litigation in our Fargo office. Vanessa graduated summa cum laude from Minot State University in 2008 and magna cum laude from University of North Dakota School of Law in 2012. While in law school, Vanessa participated in moot court and was Managing Editor of the North Dakota Law Review. She also completed externships with Judge Kermit E. Bye of the Eighth Circuit Court of Appeals and Judge Joel D. Medd of the Northeast Central Judicial District. Vanessa is originally from Jamestown, ND.
Stephanie Asheim
Stephanie concentrates her practice in the areas of commercial transactions, corporate law, business organization, and mergers and acquisitions. She graduated from the University of Minnesota Law School. Stephanie received her undergraduate degree, with honors, in Government & Politics and American Studies from George Mason University in Fairfax, Virginia.
Before joining [nap_names id=”FIRM-NAME-1″], Stephanie worked at law firms in Minneapolis, Detroit, and Boston. Her clients have included large banks, publicly-held companies, venture capital firms, private individuals, and businesses of all sizes.
Eeva Greenley
Eeva concentrates her practice on business and commercial litigation and creditor, debtor and collections. Eeva attended the University of North Dakota School of Law where she graduated with distinction and was elected to the Order of the Barristers. Before joining Vogel, she worked at Rodenburg Law Firm where she practiced creditors’ rights law.
Before law school, Eeva graduated from Concordia College, Moorhead, MN with bachelors of arts degrees in English Literature and Scandinavian Studies. Eeva is a native of Thief River Falls, MN.
David T. Hermanson
David T. Hermanson is a native of western North Dakota. He was born in Williston, North Dakota, and returned to Williston after graduating from the University of North Dakota School of Law in 1999. From 1999 to October of 2012, David was a member of the McKennett Law Firm located in Williston. David is experienced in various areas of the law. The most constant part of David’s practice has been real estate, including oil and gas. David primarily represents land and mineral owners.
Valeska A. Hermanson
Valeska practices Estate Planning and Probate. She helps her clients plan for their present and future in a manner that best suits the client’s unique circumstances and wishes. From 2000 to 2012, Valeska worked for the McKennett Law Firm in Williston, North Dakota, assisting her clients in planning for and protecting their mineral and other property interests. Valeska is admitted to practice in all state and district courts in North Dakota and Montana.
Valeska is originally from Mora, Minnesota. She attended college at Bemidji State University and law school in Grand Forks. She is married to David Hermanson, and they have two children.
Whitney Irish
Whitney’s areas of concentration include estate planning and oil and gas. Whitney received her undergraduate degree, cum laude, in Business Management from the University of North Dakota, Grand Forks, ND. She graduated from the University of Denver Sturm College of Law, Denver, CO. While at the University of Denver, Whitney received Scholastic Excellence Awards for legal research and legal writing, as well as the DU Law Merit Scholarship and Law Scholarship. Whitney is from Fargo, ND.
Kevin Mason
Kevin’s practice will focus on corporate law, mergers and acquisitions, oil and gas, agribusiness, and also secured lending and leasing transactions.
Before he joined [nap_names id=”FIRM-NAME-1″], Kevin worked in Washington DC, in Poland and Ukraine, where he represented venture capital and technology investors, and acquirers of banks and agribusiness concerns. His clients have included international banks and multinationals, private individuals, and farmers and small businesses, and he has helped investors close complex cross-border transactions and also small business obtain licenses. Another large part of Kevin’s experience lies in assisting agricultural and construction equipment manufacturers to structure their loan and lease financing.
Jacob Rodenbiker
Jake is a litigation associate in the Bismarck office with involvement in a wide range of legal disputes representing both individuals and business entities. Jake joined Vogel with substantial trial and appellate experience, including over thirty trials and a dozen appeals. In both Bismarck and Miami, Florida, he has successfully prosecuted criminal offenses ranging from misdemeanor to rape and murder. He also became familiar with administrative proceedings as counsel to the North Dakota Insurance Department.
A Fargo native, Jake received his bachelor of arts degree, magna cum laude, from the University of Notre Dame and attended summer school at Georgetown University while interning for one of North Dakota’s United States Senators. He received his law degree from the University of Minnesota School of Law.
