JOB DESCRIPTION

Are you ready to kickstart your marketing career with hands-on experience at a dynamic and professional law firm? Vogel Law Firm is offering a paid summer Marketing Internship Program from May to early August 2025 (with an optional early start in April). This is your chance to dive into the exciting world of legal marketing and make a real impact!

WHAT YOU WILL DO:
As a Marketing Intern, you’ll be at the heart of our campaigns, working on everything from brainstorming creative ideas to analyzing results. You’ll help plan events, manage social media content, and maintain our website, all while learning the ins and outs of the legal marketing industry. Plus, you’ll collaborate with our team on photo and video shoots and assist with sponsorships and donations across the region.

We need someone who’s organized, detail-oriented, and eager to learn. A knack for problem-solving, strong communication skills, and proficiency with Microsoft Office tools are a must. RESPONSIBILITIES

As a Marketing Intern at Vogel Law Firm, you will contribute to impactful campaigns that play a vital role in the firm’s success.

  • Help coordinate special events, seminars, firm sponsorships, and donations across the region.
  • Assist in managing all social media platforms using CoSchedule and come up with creative content to repurpose across multiple platforms.
  • Collaborate on photo and video shoot scheduling and preparation.
  • Manage, edit and maintain website and online professional profile content.
  • Must be able to run errands and complete administrative tasks supporting the marketing director. Must have a valid driver's license, reliable vehicle and provide clean driving record.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES

  • Maintains tidiness of marketing office, and promotional storage areas.
  • Complete various projects for the firm as coordinated through the Marketing Director.
  • Ability to follow policies and procedures, maintain regular attendance, complete administrative tasks correctly and on time.
  • Other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS:

  • Ability to read and write at a level normally acquired through the completion of high school to process informational messages.
  • Interpersonal skills necessary to communicate by telephone and in person with visitors, attorneys, and staff to provide information with ordinary courtesy and tact.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office tools.
  • Ability to use a computer workstation for an extended period.
  • Strong problem-solving capabilities.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Highly collaborative with a desire to learn in a professional environment.
  • Superior attention to detail and accuracy, organizational skills.
  • High level of personal productivity, quick to execution that gets great results.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE: Candidates for this internship must be enrolled at a North Dakota college or university and be of Sophomore, Junior, or Senior standing, pursuing a degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field in Business Development.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

  • Normal office environment.
  • Ability to retrieve and distribute print volumes, push, and pull packages, and books weighing up to 20 pounds and ability to retrieve and replace objects from shelves of up to 8 feet high.

Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision. Regularly required to sit for lengths of time; use of hands and fingers to type, handle or feel must have the ability to talk or hear.  The employee is frequently required to stand, walk, and reach with hands and arms.  The employee is occasionally required to climb or balance and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl when retrieving files.
