Neil is an attorney in the Fargo office, currently practicing in the areas of civil and commercial litigation, and business law. Prior to joining the firm, Neil served as law clerk to Justice Dale V. Sandstrom of the North Dakota Supreme Court and then to Chief Judge Ralph R. Erickson of the United States District Court for the District of North Dakota.
Neil grew up on a farm near Leonard, North Dakota. He received his B.S. in Business Administration from North Dakota State University. Following his undergraduate studies, Neil attended the University of South Dakota where he undertook a dual course of study, receiving his Juris Doctor degree from the University of South Dakota School of Law with high honors and his Master of Business Administration degree from the University of South Dakota Beacom School of Business. While at USD, Neil was a member of the law school’s moot court board and also served as a graduate assistant to two distinguished professors in the Beacom School of Business.
In his free time, Neil enjoys working on the family farm near Leonard and cheering on the various athletic teams at North Dakota State University. He also enjoys watching and participating in many different sports, from baseball to curling.
