Larry has engaged in a broad spectrum of the legal field over his 40 years in private practice.  He now concentrates his practice in the areas of real estate, business transactions, commercial litigation, estate planning and probate, and oil, gas and energy law.  

Larry obtained degrees in Economics and Business Administration from Jamestown College.  He received his law degree from Northwestern University in Chicago, Illinois.  Following graduation from law school, Larry returned to North Dakota in 1975 to clerk with Justice Paul Sand at the North Dakota Supreme Court.  He has been engaged in the private practice of law in the Bismarck area since that clerkship. 

Larry was born in Columbia, Missouri, but has lived in North Dakota since attending high school in Jamestown.  His wife, Christine, and his son, Christopher, are lawyers in Bismarck.  Larry’s leisure activities include backpacking, canoeing and kayaking trips, scuba diving, (slow) running and spoiling a number of dogs and cats over the years.
